Another hiking year has gone and by all the reports, the year has been very good and enjoyed by all. Again, the success of the activities of the Vernon Outdoors Club is due to the hard work of all the hike and cycling leaders, the executive and the volunteers for clearing, sweeping and running the club. Thank you to all those volunteers. It is a job well done. It is this cooperation that makes the Vernon Outdoors Club such a success. Skiing and snowshoeing is a little later this year so check with appropriate people for more information. The winning photos in the Photo Contest at the annual Banquet will be put on the Club Website, so check there if interested. We are getting ready for the new season in 2008 with many of the hikes and dates are set. Do your part as well and note that for all hikes, over the ankle boots are a must. Be prepared for the spring. All of you people that won the door prizes at the Annual Banquet, please make a effort to thank the business that donated your prize. -KT Pizza party- Sunday April 06, 2008, 6:00 PM -Annual General Meeting _ March 13, 2008, 7:00 PM at the Schubert Center -Fall General Meeting _ September 17, 2008, 7:00 PM at the Schubert Center -Annual Banquet _ October 25, 2008 at the Schubert Center Fred Swirp President | ||||||
