TRAIL MAINTENANCE
We need volunteers to assist with this critical task. It's fun and helps VOC to give back to the broader community of hikers and ramblers in the North Okanagan and surroundings. Everyone can contribute - we need drivers with high clearance 4WD vehicles who can transport our crews and equipment, trimmers to help prune or saw small branches and undergrowth and experienced chainsaw operators to remove fallen trees and large branches obstructing trails. All equipment is provided by the club and mileage expenses are refunded for drivers.

ACTIVITY LEADERS
Being an activity leader is a great way of meeting club members and broadening your outdoor skills and knowledge of local trails or bike routes. We'll assist with training you so you are ready to lead a group. Contact the cycle, hike or ramble coordinators for more information.
RUNNING THE CLUB
We want members to help run the club! Our social committee organizes social events and casual events such as evening bike rides or short hikes in the summer. Others organize small events such as kayaking or canoeing. Executive members participate in the more formal meetings needed to manage the club as a Member Funded Society under BC law. Contact us and let us know how you'd like to get involved.
